It is an adaptation of the novel KKN di Desa Penari by SimpleMan. Produced by MD Pictures, the film stars Aulia Sarah, Maudy Effrosina, and Jourdy Pranata. Serving as a prequel to the 2022 film KKN di Desa Penari, it was released in Indonesian cinemas on April 11, 2024, alongside Grave Torture in a competitive release.

Plot:

In this chilling horror-thriller, Mila is tasked by a shaman to return a mystical bracelet, the Kawaturih, to the "Dancing Village," a remote settlement on the eastern tip of Java Island. Accompanied by her cousin Yuda and his friends Jito and Arya, Mila arrives only to find that the village elder has passed away, and the new guardian, Mbah Buyut, is missing. While waiting for Mbah Buyut's return, eerie and unsettling events begin to unfold, including Mila’s encounter with Badarawuhi, a mysterious and mythical entity who rules the village. When Mila attempts to return the Kawaturih without Mbah Buyut's guidance, she unknowingly endangers the village’s safety. As a result, she is drawn into a ritual to choose the new "Dawuh," a cursed soul destined to dance for eternity.
