Movie Name: Zombieland Double Tap

Released Year: 2019

Zombieland: Double Tap is a 2019 American post-apocalyptic zombie comedy film directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and David Callaham. A sequel to the 2009 film Zombieland, it features an ensemble cast including Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, Emma Stone, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Avan Jogia, Luke Wilson, and Thomas Middleditch, with the first film's main characters returning. The story follows Tallahassee (Harrelson), Columbus (Eisenberg), and Wichita (Stone) as they encounter new, evolved zombies and meet other survivors while traveling from the White House to Graceland to find Little Rock (Breslin).

Plot:

Ten years after the zombie outbreak, the group faces new types of zombies: "Homers" (slow and dumb), "Hawkings" (partially intelligent), and "Ninjas" (silent and deadly). Living in the White House, Tallahassee dismisses Little Rock's desire to find a boyfriend, while Columbus awkwardly proposes to Wichita. The day after their Christmas celebration, Tallahassee finds a note from the girls revealing they have left in a weaponized version of The Beast. A month later, while at a mall, Columbus and Tallahassee meet Madison, a clueless blonde who has survived the apocalypse by hiding in a Pinkberry store. They take her back to the White House, where she and Columbus end up sleeping together.

When they hear a noise in the garage, they find Wichita has returned for weapons and ammo. She explains that Little Rock stole The Beast and left for Graceland with Berkeley, a pacifist. Concerned for Little Rock's safety, the group sets off for Graceland. Along the way, they fight off a horde of zombies, and Madison is scratched by a Ninja zombie. As they retreat in their original car, Madison begins to show signs of turning, prompting Columbus to lead her into the forest to put her down.

The group reaches a ruined Graceland, but there is no sign of Little Rock, Berkeley, or The Beast. They eventually find The Beast at an Elvis-themed motel, where they meet Nevada, who tells them Little Rock and Berkeley have gone to a hippie commune called Babylon. Nevada and Tallahassee spend the night together, but the next day, The Beast is crushed by a monster truck owned by Albuquerque and Flagstaff, two survivors with a history with Nevada. The group then faces several T-800 zombies, leading to Albuquerque and Flagstaff's deaths.

On their way to Babylon, they encounter Madison, who explains her "zombification" was actually a result of a nut allergy. Arriving in Babylon, the group surrenders their weapons and reunites with Little Rock and Berkeley. Tallahassee, now confident that Little Rock is safe, decides to leave, but a horde of T-800s drawn by fireworks threatens the commune. Tallahassee devises a plan to use exploding biodiesel to lure the zombies off a nearby skyscraper, with himself as bait.

The plan fails, and the commune is overrun until Nevada arrives in Albuquerque's truck to save them. After a dangerous escape, the group manages to corral the zombies off the building’s roof. Tallahassee is nearly dragged down by a zombie but is saved by Little Rock, who shoots the zombie with a gun Tallahassee had given her. The group reconciles: Wichita accepts Columbus' proposal, Madison and Berkeley become a couple, and Nevada and Tallahassee start their own relationship. The original quartet, now joined by Nevada, leaves Babylon.

In the mid-credits scene, the film flashes back to 2009, showing Bill Murray witnessing Al Roker turning into a zombie during an interview for a third Garfield movie. Murray kills several zombies, including Grace Randolph and Lili Estefan, before escaping. The post-credits scene shows an outtake of Murray making Estefan break character by pretending to cough up a hairball.
